Our Mission

"Built to be faster
than headlines."

Today News Cast exists to close the gap between the moment news breaks and the moment you read it. We are not a newsroom. We are an infrastructure layer — a precision-built index that monitors the world's most trusted journalism in real time, so you never miss what matters.

What We Are

Today News Cast (TNC) is a premium media index built for the modern digital era. We do not employ reporters or produce original journalism. Our role is different — and deliberately so. TNC is an independent aggregation and indexing service: a real-time window into the output of the world's most credible primary news organisations.

We monitor 37 verified RSS channels across 12 categories — from World Affairs and Politics to Technology, Science, Health, and Sport — and surface their latest stories in one unified, cleanly presented stream.

The Automated Engine

At the core of TNC is a proprietary content sync pipeline. Every minute, our workers poll each configured RSS feed, detect new publications, de-duplicate entries, and write fresh story data to our index. There are no editors deciding what to show you. There are no algorithmic filters shaping your view of the world. If a publisher's RSS feed carries it, TNC surfaces it.

This architecture means TNC can reflect breaking news in under two minutes — well ahead of traditional curation-layer products that rely on human editorial decisions or slower batch pipelines.

Editorial Principles

TNC does not produce, edit, endorse, or alter the content of any story in its index. Headlines, summaries, and publication timestamps are reproduced directly from source RSS data. All intellectual property — including trademarks, brand names, and logos of source publishers — remains the sole property of the respective original publishers.

We assess every feed source against strict quality and reliability criteria before inclusion. Sensationalist, unreliable, or low-editorial-standard feeds are excluded from the TNC index regardless of their audience size.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Today News Cast?

Today News Cast (TNC) is an independent, automated news index. We do not produce original reporting. Instead, our engine continuously polls dozens of verified RSS feeds from trusted global publishers and surfaces the most recent stories across 12 topic categories — giving you a single, real-time window into the world's news.

How often is the content updated?

Our content sync engine runs continuously, polling every configured RSS channel approximately once per minute. On average, TNC indexes around 60 new stories every hour. Breaking news from major outlets typically appears on TNC within 1–2 minutes of publication.

Where do your stories come from?

All content is sourced directly from the official RSS feeds of established, primary publishers — including BBC, The New York Times, The Guardian, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, ESPN, NASA, and more. We do not aggregate from secondary or aggregator feeds. See the full list on our Sources directory.

Is TNC free to use?

Yes. Today News Cast is fully free to read. No account, subscription, or payment is required to browse stories.

How can I suggest a news source?

We periodically review and expand our feed set. If you believe a high-quality, primary news source is missing from our index, please reach out via the TNC operations desk. We assess sources against strict quality, reliability, and editorial independence standards before adding them.

Is there a developer API?

A read-only developer API for headline data is on our roadmap. If you represent a platform or product interested in early access or syndication, please contact the operations desk with your use case.

Is there a mobile app?

There is no dedicated mobile app at this time. TNC is built as a responsive web application and performs well on all screen sizes. You can also follow our Telegram channel for real-time headline updates on mobile.
