The agency is considering whether compounding pharmacies should be allowed to produce BPC-157, TB-500 and other previously banned peptides.
“Consumers should not be faced with a trade-off between nutrition and food safety,” writes Susan Mayne, former director of the FDA Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition.
